SESSIONAL SOCIAL WORKERS REQUIRED:
Five Rivers Ireland are seeking to recruit sessional Social Workers
who have the capacity to work as part of our Emergency Placement
Service. This service operates outside of office hours, from 5 pm on
weekdays and over the weekend. To ensure the effective implementation
of this service we require additional Social Workers who are available
to work on an ?on call basis?.? Successful applicants would
ideally have experience in the area of Child Protection and Welfare or
in Fostering. While ?on call? you will be available to take
referrals from Tusla?s Out of Hours service and will be required to
place children with our dedicated emergency foster carers as
appropriate.? You will also provide advice and guidance over the
phone to Five Rivers foster carers who require out of hours support.
* You will need to be available on either Thursday, Friday, Saturday,
or Sundays.? We can be flexible in relation to the number of days
?on call? allocated each month
* Full training will be provided, as well as a laptop, mobile phone
and access to encrypted recording and information sharing systems
* You will have access to a Manager on call over the phone
* You will be based from your home
* You must be a qualified Social Worker and registered with CORU ?
* Good assessment and recording skills are essential
* This position may suit someone on a career break or someone who is

likely that interviews will be conducted via MS Teams.
